Now, most would say that they would prefer that Pixar Animation Studios make more original works. And I’m one of those people! But, if they really want to make more sequels, they should just let me do it. I kind of have the best ideas.
The Pixar movies releasing 2025 and 2026 are “TBA”, which I think means, “Pitch us your movie ideas in a blog post and we’ll let you do it.”
(Note: these ideas were created betweem me, my brother, and sister. In case I ever actually reveal this to them, I don’t need to be getting beat up.)
Finding Love (2025)
Finding Nemo is a movie I only appreciate more and more over time. I went from being scared of the movie(because of the Bruce jumpscare, but my Dad swears it was because of Darla) to it being in my Top 5 favorite Pixar movies.
Finding Dory is… mid. Really, really mid. At least in my opinion.
But I think my pitch will turn this series around into the most cohesive Pixar trilogy since Toy Story. Some people would say, “oh, well it would be Finding Marlin, right?”
NO. OF COURSE NOT.
Every title in the Finding saga has a very specific(and unplanned and convienient) nomenclature. Four words, featuring an O. Marlin does not fit this bill, “Love” does.
Finding Love will focus on Marlin, of course. But what will the plot be? I give two options:
Carol is Alive (SOMEHOW)
It is revealed that for some reason, inexplicably, unexplainably, mindboggilingly, that Carol, Marlin’s wife who tragically died, actually didn’t. She is alive.
I’m not sure how you would turn that into a movie, so let’s say she also lost her memory. Marlin has to woo her all over again, and Nemo can meet his mom. I feel like this is a romance movie trope, and also maybe the plot of Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3.
Marlin Zings Again
Marlin has given up on love. He’s decided to focus his efforts on raising his son and saving for retirement. But his whole world flips upside down when a new fish shows up in the neighborhood.
The question is, do we make them a clownfish or not? I think we could make a very nice biracial relaitonship, so I vote for the latter.
So, Pixar, if you wanna take my idea, I implore you to take the second option. Thanks.
Cars 4: The Legacy (2026)
Cars might be the most nostalgic movie of all time for me. Overall, it’s a 7 out of 10.
Cars 2 is… not great. I mean, I’d rather watch it then Finding Dory.
Cars 3 is a bit better, but I’ve probably watched it for the last time… who am I kidding, I’ll probably be doing a Cars series rewatch with my siblings in like a year.
But I think there’s room for another sequel(I know you wanna do it Pixar) with the classic sitcom approach: Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera have a kid: Thunder McQueen-Carrera.
Let me preface this with saying that I’m basing a lot of this off some YouTube comment I’ve read before. There’s literally no way I can track it down, so… sorry?
Lightning wants his son to follow in his tiretracks: being a professional race driver. But Thunder has different plans: street racing. He makes some shady friends there, like Lin Diessel(sorry, too easy.) Will these two ever see windshield to windshield?
I even made a comic on my sketchbook almost a full year ago, when I was much worse at drawing, and much, much, much worse at drawing cars. It’s based off this Studio C sketch.
(my biggest wish is that people who click on the link will go on a Studio C binge. Their older videos (pre-2017) are classics.)
Oh, and One More Thing..
I want a Disney Plus Wall-E show. My favorite Pixar movie, The Incredibles, already got a sequel(I actually like it, trust me, I’ve tried not to), so I want to see the characters from my second favorite movie again. I’d like to clarify, I don’t want a sequel.
I have a pitch for an epsiode: Wall-E invents fidget spinners, and the humans get hooked. Make it happen!
